Frequently asked questions

What if I’m healthy and rarely go to the doctor?

We’re here for everyone — from those in excellent health to those managing chronic conditions. Our goal is to help you stay healthy through preventive, integrative, and functional care. If you’re doing great, we focus on maintaining your wellness and addressing issues early. We’re also here when unexpected illnesses or injuries happen, helping you avoid missed work or unnecessary ER visits.

Can I become a member if I’m on Medicare?

Not yet. Medicare requires enrolled providers to bill for all covered services. Until Peter is able to officially opt out of Medicare, we can’t accept Medicare patients for membership.


Once that changes, you’ll simply sign a Medicare Opt-Out Agreement confirming you won’t bill Medicare for our services.

If you’d like to join once we can accept Medicare members, please sign up for our Medicare Patient Waiting List and we’ll notify you as soon as we’re able to welcome you.

What’s the difference between the Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership and specialized memberships?

The DPC membership covers comprehensive, full-scope primary care — preventive visits, chronic care, and acute concerns.


Our specialized memberships (Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Weight Management) focus on specific goals such as hormone or weight optimization and include medication and supplies through our partner pharmacies.

Do you provide urgent care?

Yes. We treat acute, non-chronic conditions such as ear infections, cold or flu symptoms, and minor injuries.


However, our DPC membership is the best long-term option — it includes acute visits plus ongoing, relationship-based care for one monthly fee.

What’s the difference between synthetic and bio-identical hormones?

Synthetic hormones are lab-made compounds that act like natural hormones but aren’t identical to those your body produces.


Bio-identical hormones are plant-derived and chemically identical to your natural hormones, allowing smoother absorption and fewer side effects. They can also be customized through compounding pharmacies to fit individual needs.

What does a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership include?

Your membership provides:

  • Preventive care and screenings

  • Chronic condition management

  • Acute care for sudden issues

  • Direct communication with your provider

  • Help coordinating labs, imaging, and medications
